PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Ravi Kumar Muttineni is a rational drug hunter and a passionate innovative research scientist who is having 19+ years of experience in drug discovery. He has done his Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry. After having worked in GVK Bio for 4.5 years and Schrodinger for a decade, he chose to start his own company Immunocure to serve organizations that are in need of expertise skills in drug discovery. During his 19+ of experience, he worked and traveled to almost all the drug discovery research departments in the sub-continent and also few in the USA, where he learned insights of how and where drug discovery is succeeding and failing and why? And in the last couple of years after leaving Schrodinger, he started developing his own processes and models to overcome the hurdles in drug discovery research.
Now Dr. Ravi and his team, have developed their own custom AI models along with curated databases to accelerate the drug discovery process. Recently they have succeeded in bringing a cancer molecule all the way from hit identification to the pre-clinical stage within 1.5 years. Currently, he is leading 4 projects from the US in their small molecule drug discovery research which includes Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and COVID-19. Dr. Ravi is having a proven track record in using the latest cutting-edge technologies coupled with science expertise. In his leadership, Immunocure can help accelerate drug discovery R&D for any company who have got stuck or want to accelerate their discovery and reduce the time and money spent while having promising results. Dr.Ravi follows highly ethical practices while protecting and safeguarding the client’s data with confidentiality and security.
